Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

chili paste (sambal oelek, sriracha, or hot sauce of choice)

Instructions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, tomato paste, chili paste, garlic, and rice vinegar, then pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and let it cool slightly, then whisk the cornstarch into the sauce in the slow cooker.
- Cook on HIGH for 15 minutes to thicken the sauce, stirring occasionally.
- Shred the chicken and return it to the slow cooker, stirring to coat in the sauce.
- Serve over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
