Instant Pot Egg Bites

Ingredients

The base

  • 5 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Gruyere cheese (shredded)
  • cup Heavy cream (or any type of milk or half & half)
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • tsp Sea salt
  • tsp Black pepper

The filling

  • 7 slices Bacon (cooked)

Instructions

  1. Grease a silicone egg bite mold.
  2. Cut the bacon slices in half and place two pieces in the bottom of each mold.
  3. Blend the eggs, cheese, cream, water, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the molds and cover with foil.
  5. Add water to the Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
  6. Set the mold on the trivet, seal the lid, and cook on high pressure for 9 minutes.
  7. Allow a 5-minute natural release, then perform a quick release.
  8. Remove the mold, let cool for 5 minutes, then pop out the egg bites.
