Prosciutto, Pineapple & Pesto Paninis

Ingredients

  • 2 slices favorite sliced bread (sourdough recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon pesto
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple, cored and sliced into thick half-rings
  • ½ cup fresh mozzarella
  • 2 slices sliced prosciutto

Instructions

  1. Spread pesto on a slice of bread.
  2. Layer the pineapple, mozzarella, and prosciutto on top.
  3. Repeat for additional paninis if desired.
  4. For grill pan, heat over medium-high and toast the paninis until golden.
  5. For oven, preheat the broiler and toast the paninis until cheese melts, about 2-4 minutes.
