Healthy Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • to cover slices Monterrey Jack, Muenster, Cheddar, or Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a small nonstick fry pan over medium-low heat.
  2. Place cheese slices between the two slices of whole wheat bread.
  3. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil into the warm fry pan and spread it evenly.
  4. Place the sandwich in the pan, cover with a lid, and cook until the bottom is golden, about 2 minutes.
  5. Flip the sandwich using a spatula, add the remaining olive oil to the pan, and cook the other side until golden.
  6. Serve immediately.
