Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

The seasoning and oil

  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste garlic powder
  • to taste smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Remove chicken from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 450ºF.
  3. Pound the chicken breasts between two pieces of wrap to create uniform thickness.
  4. Place chicken on a baking sheet and brush both sides with avocado oil.
  5. Season liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160ºF.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.
