Baked Bone-In Chicken Breast

Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pieces bone-in split chicken breasts

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. 2. Place the chicken on a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle avocado oil over the top of each breast.
  3. 3. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Bake for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF and the skin is golden brown.
  5. 5. Cool completely and remove the skin.
  6. 6. Chop or shred the chicken breast and store in an airtight container.
