Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and spray a 13 by 9-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pound the thicker parts of the chicken to achieve an even thickness.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, thyme, onion powder, oregano, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the baking dish and brush both sides with olive oil.
- Evenly sprinkle the spice mixture over both sides of the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken's center registers 165°F, about 16 to 20 minutes.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
