Homemade Chai Tea

black tea bags
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except tea bags in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to reserve the liquid for concentrate and let it cool to room temperature.
- Mix equal parts of concentrate with water or milk to serve.
