Instructions
- Heat butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Crack the egg into the skillet and cook until the whites are set.
- For sunny-side up, remove the egg when the whites are opaque.
- For over-easy, flip the egg and cook for an additional 20 to 30 seconds.
- For over-medium, flip the egg and cook for an additional 30 to 60 seconds.
- For over-hard, flip the egg and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the yolk is firm.
- Season with salt and pepper if desired, and serve immediately.
