Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare the cake pan.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients for the cookie cake in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars until fluffy, then add the egg and vanilla.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the dough into the prepared pan and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
- Bake for 19 to 22 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
- Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.
- Prepare the frosting by beating together the ingredients until fluffy.
- Pipe the frosting around the edges of the cooled cookie cake and serve.
