Ingredients

The egg mixture

  • 4 pieces eggs
  • ¼ cup egg whites
  • ½ cup reduced-fat cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

The toppings

  • ½ pieces red pepper, chopped
  • ½ pieces green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup red onion, chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

The cooking liquid

  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Blend the eggs, egg whites, cottage cheese, whipping cream, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add water to the Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
  3. Carefully add the baby-food container filled with the egg mixture to the pot.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the compartments of the container and top with chopped peppers, onions, and bacon.
  5. Cover the container and seal the Instant Pot lid.
  6. Set the Instant Pot to the Steam setting and cook for 12 minutes.
  7. Allow natural steam release for 10 minutes before opening the pot.
  8. Remove the container and let the bites cool slightly before serving.
