Instructions
- Combine sugar and ¾ cup water in a pot and bring to a boil, stirring until dissolved to make simple syrup.
- Remove from heat and let the simple syrup cool.
- Juice the lemons to get 1 cup of lemon juice, straining out pulp and seeds.
- In a large pitcher, mix the lemon juice, 1 cup of simple syrup, and 3 cups of cold water.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more water if desired.
- Add lemon slices to the pitcher and chill or serve immediately over ice.
