Ingredients

The marinade

  • cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger (optional)

The shrimp

  • 1 lb medium uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • to taste none chopped green onion (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the shrimp in half of the marinade for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp until pink.
  4. Pour in the remaining marinade and cook until the shrimp are fully cooked.
  5. Serve the shrimp with the sauce and garnish with green onions.
