Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 lb shelled and deveined shrimp

The sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • to taste chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp with cold water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet and add olive oil and butter.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until slightly brown.
  4. Stir in the shrimp and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add honey, lime juice, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  6. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
