The caramelized bananas

sliced into 1/2-1 inch segments

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with foil and place the sliced bananas in it.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter over the bananas and toss to combine.
- Spread the bananas out in a single layer and bake for 15 minutes.
- Stir the bananas and bake for an additional 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, white sugar, salt, and vanilla, whisking until the sugar is dissolved, then chill in the fridge.
- Once the bananas are cooled, puree them until smooth and mix them into the chilled milk mixture.
- Chill the entire mixture before churning it in an ice cream maker.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for several hours to set.
