Beef Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Boil water with salt in a large pot, add the egg noodles, and cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a saucepan, cook the ground beef and onion until browned, then drain the fat.
  4. Combine the cooked beef and onion with cheese, bell pepper, corn, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic, salt, and the drained noodles.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is golden.
  7. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
