Healthy Homemade Granola

Ingredients

  • ½ cup flaked almonds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup pecans
  • ½ cup coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup honey
  • cup grape seed oil
  • ¼ tsp lemon oil
  • 1 unit egg white (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F and place the rack in the center.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.
  4. Add honey and oils to the dry mixture.
  5. For crunchier granola, beat an egg white and fold it gently into the mixture.
  6. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
