Homemade Lemonade

fresh-squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool for about 10 minutes.
- Pour the fresh-squeezed lemon juice into a pitcher.
- Add the cooled syrup to the lemon juice.
- Add the remaining 5 cups of water and stir well.
- Serve over ice or chill in the refrigerator before serving.
