Ingredients

The wings

  • 1 pound chicken wings

The coating

  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. Pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Place the wings in a zip-top plastic bag.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together baking powder, garlic powder, sea salt, paprika, and black pepper.
  5. Add the seasoning mixture to the bag and shake to coat the wings.
  6. Remove the wings from the bag and spray them with oil.
  7. Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, tossing after 10 minutes, until the skin is crispy and the wings are cooked through.
