Ingredients

The dip

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces Swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup scallions

Toppings

  • ½ cup buttery crackers
  • ½ pound bacon
  • to taste additional scallions

For serving

  • to taste buttery crackers, garlic Melba toasts, or pretzels

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Swiss cheese, and scallions.
  3. Spread the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  4. Remove from the oven and top with crushed crackers, crumbled bacon, and additional scallions if desired.
  5. Serve hot with crackers, Melba toasts, or pretzels.
