Cauliflower Steak with Herby Avocado Sauce

The Avocado Topping

ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and diced
Instructions
- Prepare the cauliflower by removing the outer leaves and cutting the bottom stem to create a flat base.
- Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks and reserve the sides for another use.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and honey, then brush half of this mixture over the cauliflower steaks and sprinkle with Montreal seasoning.
- For the avocado topping, combine parsley, cilantro, garlic, jalapeño, lime juice, salt, pepper, oregano, and olive oil in a bowl. Add diced avocado and stir gently.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the cauliflower steaks on the grill with the seasoned side down, brush with remaining olive oil mixture, and sprinkle with more Montreal seasoning.
- Cover the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes until the bottom chars, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot with the avocado topping.
