Ingredients

The pickling mixture

  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns

The radishes

  • 1 bunch radishes

Instructions

  1. Wash the radishes and slice them thinly using a mandolin or a sharp knife.
  2. Place the sliced radishes in a glass jar.
  3. In a small pan, combine the vinegar, water, maple syrup, and salt, then bring to a boil while stirring.
  4. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over the radishes in the jar, add the peppercorns, and stir to combine.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature before serving. For best flavor, refrigerate for a day before consuming.
