Ingredients

The guacamole

  • 5 medium ripe avocados
  • ½ medium jalapeno
  • ¼ medium red onion
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 medium limes (zest and juice)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons coarse salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

The topping

  • 2 medium peaches

For serving

  • as needed tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Chop and prep all the guacamole ingredients.
  2. 2. Mash the avocados in a large glass bowl using a fork.
  3. 3. Stir in jalapeno, red onion, cilantro, garlic, lime zest and juice, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  4. 4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. 6. Top with diced peaches and serve immediately with tortilla chips.
