Instructions
- Rinse the quinoa thoroughly in a wire sieve or bowl to remove its natural coating.
- In a medium pot, combine the rinsed quinoa, apple juice, salt, cinnamon, and ground cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes without removing the lid.
- Chop the apple into small pieces and roughly chop the walnuts while the quinoa rests.
- Fluff the quinoa with a fork, then stir in the chopped apples and walnuts.
