Lobster & Cream Cheese Wontons

Ingredients

The filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese or Neufchatel
  • 8 oz imitation lobster or crab
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ bunch green onions
  • ½ tsp sriracha hot sauce

The wrappers

  • 1 pkg 42 wonton wrappers
  • as needed none non-stick spray

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, green onions, egg, and Sriracha in a bowl until well mixed.
  2. Stir in the lobster, breaking it into smaller pieces.
  3. Wet the edges of the wonton wrappers with water.
  4. Place about one teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper, fold diagonally, and seal tightly.
  5. Boil the wontons in batches until they float, about 3 minutes, then drain on a cooling rack.
  6. Heat a non-stick skillet and fry the boiled wontons until golden and crispy.
