Pear Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 medium fresh pears
  • 1 small lemon
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Start with fresh, clean, ripe pears.
  2. Peel the pears using a paring knife.
  3. Chop the pears into chunks.
  4. Place the chopped pears into a small pot.
  5. Juice one small lemon and add it to the pears.
  6. Add ½ teaspoon cinnamon and ¼ cup water to the pears.
  7. Stir well, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Using an immersion blender (or transfer pears to a blender), blend cooked pears until you reach the desired consistency.
