Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Stir in the cinnamon chips, then pour in the heavy cream and mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead just until it forms a ball. Pat into a ¾-inch thick circle and cut into triangles or use a biscuit cutter.
- Place the scones on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with heavy cream and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until light brown. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
