Instructions
- Heat the oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Brown the pork shoulder on all sides.
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine, coating the pork thoroughly.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 40 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the sauce has reduced.
- Discard the bay leaves and serve warm with desired sides.
