Ingredients

The coating

  • cup flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs

The chicken

  • 24 ounces chicken breast cutlets

For cooking

  • as needed spray oil

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
  2. Beat the eggs in a second shallow dish.
  3. Place breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
  4. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, dip into the egg mixture, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and spray the chicken with oil.
  6. Arrange chicken in a single layer and cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
