Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into roughly 1-inch chunks.
- Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray and add the potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the water over the potatoes and cover with the lid.
- Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours until fork tender, stirring once per hour if possible.
- Mash the potatoes using a potato masher, adding butter and milk until smooth.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and serve warm, adding more liquid if necessary.
