Basic Chicken Breast Meal Prep

Ingredients

The chicken

  • 1 lb. chicken breast

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. For oven baking, place chicken on an oiled baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. For slow cooking, place chicken breast, olive oil, and salt and pepper in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  4. For the Instant Pot, sauté seasoned chicken breast in olive oil for 1 minute on each side, then pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
  5. For stove cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet, add seasoned chicken, and cook each side for 6-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
