Quick & Easy Marinara Sauce

Instructions
- Prep the tomatoes by blending fresh tomatoes or grating them.
- Sauté shallots or onions in olive oil until tender, then add garlic, chili flakes, and oregano.
- Add the tomatoes and their juices, along with salt and pepper, then simmer uncovered for 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in torn basil leaves and adjust seasonings to taste. If needed, add tomato paste or sweetener.
