Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • ½ cup lukewarm water
  • ½ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal or masa

Three-Cheese Asparagus Toppings

  • 2 ounces goat cheese
  • to taste none olive oil
  • to taste none red pepper flakes
  • pinch none salt
  • ¾ pound asparagus
  • ½ none lemon juice
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F or the highest setting.
  2. Mix lukewarm water, active dry yeast, and honey in a measuring cup and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt, then add the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then let it rise for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Prepare the toppings by mixing goat cheese, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Toss asparagus with olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in another bowl.
  7. Dust a baking sheet with cornmeal or masa, then stretch the dough into a pizza shape.
  8. Spread the goat cheese mixture on the dough, leaving a border, then top with mozzarella, parmesan, and asparagus.
  9. Bake the pizza for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
  10. Remove from the oven, add more red pepper flakes if desired, cut, and serve.
