Chicken Yakitori

The yakitori sauce

soy sauce

mirin

Instructions
- Soak 10 bamboo skewers in cold water for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, and sugar over medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Chop the chicken and green onions into 2-inch pieces and thread them onto the soaked skewers.
- Brush the yakitori sauce on all sides of the skewers.
- Heat oil in a grill or non-stick skillet and grill the skewers for 5 minutes, turning regularly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with more green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
