Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup medium chunky salsa
  • 1 unit red bell pepper, de-seeded and chopped
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak cashews in warm water for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse the cashews.
  3. Chop the red bell pepper.
  4. Add cashews, chopped pepper, salsa, nutritional yeast, salt, and turmeric to a blender.
  5. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve at room temperature or warm it in a saucepan or microwave.
