Iced Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte

Ingredients

The latte

  • 2 cubes almond milk ice
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • ΒΌ teaspoon vanilla bean powder or 1 vanilla bean, seeded
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 to 2 cubes frozen wheatgrass (optional)

For serving

  • to taste Coconut Whipped Cream
  • to taste Matcha powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Freeze almond milk in an ice cube tray until solid.
  2. In a blender, combine almond milk, almond milk ice cubes, matcha powder, vanilla, maple syrup, and optional frozen wheatgrass cubes.
  3. Blend on high for about 20 seconds until frothy.
  4. Pour the mixture into a glass with additional almond milk ice cubes.
  5. Top with coconut whipped cream and a sprinkle of matcha if desired.
