Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C).
- Cream together the butter, sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the flour, then stir in the pecans and chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until set and lightly browned on the bottoms.
- Cool on the pans for 2 minutes before rolling in powdered sugar.
- Cool completely on wire racks and optionally reroll in powdered sugar.
