Instructions
- Combine water, maple syrup, cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat slightly and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened, whisking occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or chocolate intensity as needed.
- Use immediately or let cool and store in a jar in the refrigerator.
