Ingredients

The pasta

  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 cup pasta water

The sauce

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup baby tomatoes
  • 1 cup baby arugula
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 cup hummus

Garnish

  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional everything but the bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the pasta until al dente and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. 2. In a large pan over medium heat, add olive oil, onions, and garlic, sautéing for about 3 minutes until softened.
  3. 3. Add baby tomatoes and arugula, sautéing for about 1 minute more.
  4. 4. Stir in hummus, lemon juice, and reserved pasta water to create a sauce.
  5. 5. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and plate immediately, topping with optional seasoning.
