Instructions
- Rinse the rice under warm water 2-4 times and drain.
- Soak the rice in warm water for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Boil a pot of water sufficient to submerge the rice.
- Strain the rice and set it aside.
- Once the water is boiling, turn it off and add the rice, stirring for 3 minutes.
- Carefully strain the rice again and set aside.
- Add water to the steam pot and place the bamboo basket on top without touching the water.
- Transfer the rice to the bamboo basket, cover with a lid, and steam for 30 minutes.
