Pineapple Jam

Ingredients

  • 3 cans sliced pineapples
  • 10 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ tablespoon cloves

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned pineapple slices and squeeze out excess liquid, then blend until mushy.
  2. If using fresh pineapple, remove the skin, cut into pieces, and blend until mushy.
  3. Transfer the blended pineapple to a deep non-stick pan, add sugar and cloves, and stir well.
  4. Cook over medium to low heat until most liquid evaporates and the jam turns golden.
  5. Stir constantly to avoid burning and adjust sweetness with more sugar if needed.
  6. Remove and discard the cloves, then let the mixture cool in the fridge.
