Banana Jam

ground cinnamon

rum (optional)
Instructions
- Mash the overripe bananas until chunky.
- Transfer the mashed bananas to a pot and simmer over low heat.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, lime juice, water, and salt, stirring to combine.
- Continue to simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the jam thickens slightly.
- Stir in the ground cinnamon and rum, if using.
- Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to an airtight container.
