Instructions
- 1. Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix melted coconut oil, maple syrup, milk, egg, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix until a uniform dough forms.
- 3. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in wax paper, and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 5. Roll the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 1/8 to 1/4 inch and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
- 6. Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for about 8 minutes until the bottoms begin to brown.
- 7. Make the frosting by whipping the ingredients until smooth.
- 8. Once cookies are cool, decorate with frosting and store in an airtight container.
