Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • cups pretzel M&M's
  • to taste sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugars until smooth, then add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined, then stir in the chocolate chips and pretzel M&M's.
  5. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart, and sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are slightly golden, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
