Instructions
- Line a plate with paper towels.
- Fill a heavy skillet or Dutch oven with ¼ to ½ inch of oil and heat over medium-high until it reaches 350°F.
- Cut the tortillas into six wedges each.
- Add a single layer of tortilla wedges to the hot oil without overlapping.
- Flip the chips continuously until they are pale golden brown, about 2 minutes.
- Transfer the chips to the paper towel-lined plate to drain and repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
