Instructions
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold running water until the water runs clear.
- In a saucepan, bring the measured water to a boil, along with the salt.
- Once boiling, add the rice.
- Cover the pan, reduce the heat to low, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the rice sit in the pot for an additional 5 minutes.
- Use a fork to fluff the rice then serve.
