Peppermint Patties

The coating

dark chocolate candy melts

Instructions
- Combine sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract in a mixer bowl.
- Add half of the powdered sugar and mix on low speed, then gradually add the remaining powdered sugar until a smooth dough forms.
- If the dough is too soft, add more powdered sugar; if too dry, add water gradually.
- Roll the dough on powdered sugar dusted parchment to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out rounds from the dough.
- Transfer the rounds to a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Dip each patty in the melted chocolate and place on parchment, adding sprinkles immediately.
- Let cool until set, then serve or store in the refrigerator.
