spaghetti sauce

shredded Parmesan cheese

shredded Mozzarella

The Pasta
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Spread the spaghetti sauce in a 9x13 baking dish.
- Coat the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Parmesan, then place them on top of the sauce.
- Bake the chicken for 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella and pepperoni over the chicken and increase the oven temperature to 475 degrees.
- Continue baking until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, boil 4 quarts of water in a large pot.
- Add spaghetti and 1 tablespoon of salt, cooking until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup of the cooking water, then drain the spaghetti and return it to the pot.
- Combine some sauce from the baking dish with the spaghetti, adding reserved water as needed.
- Serve the spaghetti with the chicken and remaining sauce.
