The sauce

Rao's Arrabiatta Sauce (or any low carb sauce)
Instructions
- Let the steaks come to room temperature for 30 minutes and prepare the vegetables.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Butter by mixing softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, and grated garlic, then refrigerate.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Rub the steaks with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and sear in a hot oven-safe frying pan for 1½ to 2 minutes on each side.
- Insert a meat thermometer into one steak, then place the pan in the oven to finish cooking.
- In the same pan, sauté onions and peppers in olive oil for 2-3 minutes, then add wine and mushrooms, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add fresh thyme to the vegetables and remove them to a serving dish.
- Warm the red sauce in the pan to pick up residual flavors.
- Plate the dish by dividing the sauce between two plates, placing the steaks in the center, topping with garlic parmesan butter, and serving with the sautéed vegetables.
