Instructions
- Preheat the broiler to 500°F (260°C) and position the oven rack 4-6 inches from the heating element.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the salmon fillets skin side down.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper, then brush the mixture onto the salmon fillets. Let sit for 5 minutes if time allows.
- Broil the salmon for 6-9 minutes, until opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Aim for an internal temperature of 135-145°F (57-63°C) depending on your preferred doneness.
